Groove Kuttz

We would like to welcome Blair to the team here at Groove Kuttz who graduated from Cut Above Academy. Blair will be working Tuesday - Saturdays.

Just turning up on time for his interview (by bus) and then demonstrating his skillset was enough for me to hire him .

Im offering $5 off kids and $10 off mens haircuts with Blair to assist in getting him on his way . You wont be disappointed.

Hey Team call up and book in for a haircut with our apprentice Soul $15 kids $20 Adults East Tamaki Branch 09 948 0050

Yes we are open today 😎

Another milestone celebrated in the shop this morning with one of our VIPS . Its normally a challenge and a gym session for mum ,but today he sat like a boss. Im learning new tricks every time with our ASD kids . Today I held his hand when he started getting anxious, little subtle massage while cutting with the other hand and assuring him everything is ok,that he's safe.

We did it! No tears! No flinching or moving!

You're a champ Marcus!! Very proud!

Another success to go with the many others . Been cutting this little guy for a while now ,used to sit in his dads lap. Dad was telling us how they tried taking him to another barber ,and was adamant No take me back to my Barbershop hahaha ! Now sits like a boss!

It must be the toys 🤣🤣

Meet Jacquex, one of our regular ASD clients. A year ago his haircuts weren't this great. However overtime and with Mum and Dad trusting the process ,here we are! No flinching, no fear of the clippers and sits like a boss in the chair. The smile says it all.
They make the trip from Pokeno to East Tamaki and we are super grateful. The relationship built with my guy here has become something special as it is with all my VIPS.

You're a champ buddy!

To our amazing ASD community when referring our services please also recommend a phone call ahead of visiting .
