HE DROVE 5+ HOURS FOR A HAIRCUT. 😤💈

Auckland → Eltham.

Not because he had to… but because of what we’ve built here.

This is Matt. We met about 4 years ago back at Shelby’s — just a regular client at the time. Over the years, that turned into something more.

I was there when him and his partner first got together…
when they moved in…
when they got engaged…
when they made the move up to Auckland…

And today — he made the trip down for one last cut before his wedding this weekend.

Kids are back at school on Monday so parents can finally breathe again… I know this one’s been especially rough with all the wet weather 🤣🌧️

Happy Easter from Barber x Barber! Hope everyone has an awesome long weekend and enjoys some quality time with family and friends. With school holidays now underway, it’s one of the busiest times of the year in the shop. I also just want to take a moment to say how blown away I am by the level of support we’re receiving. From our locals to those travelling in from all corners of the mountain, it doesn’t go unnoticed. Week by week the Barber x Barber family keeps growing, and it’s honestly humbling to see.

We’re building something special here — not just a barbershop, but a community. I’m grateful for every single person who walks through the door, shares a post, or recommends us to a mate. You’re the reason Barber x Barber is becoming a real force, and I can’t thank you all enough.

🚨 Important Notice 🚨

Unfortunately I’ve picked up a bit of an injury to my right arm, so it’s currently out of action for the rest of the week.

To avoid cancelling everyone, I’ll still be working — but I’ll be cutting with my left hand only. Because of this, I’ll be limiting services to buzz cuts only until I’m back to full strength.

Really sorry for the inconvenience, and appreciate everyone’s understanding while I get back to 100%.
