A little reminder for your brain π§
We often remember to look after our body, eating better, exercising, and getting enough rest.
But our brain needs care too.
I recently came across some interesting research about how keeping our minds active throughout life may help support brain health as we get older.
Some simple activities that can help keep your brain working are:
π Reading
Try reading something that makes you think, such as a good story, a novel, or something new you want to learn.
π Learning a new language
It doesn't have to be perfect. Even practising a little each day gives your brain a new challenge.
π΅ Playing music
Learning an instrument is a great way to keep your brain engaged because it combines memory, focus, and creativity.
Of course, there is no single thing that can guarantee we won't develop dementia. But small healthy habits, when we do them regularly, can support our overall wellbeing.
At Qi Harmony, we believe taking care of yourself is not only about relaxing your muscles. It's also about looking after your body, your mind, and your everyday health.
Take a little time for yourself today.

Coffee & Heart Health: What the 2026 AHA Statement Says
β Coffee & Your Heart
β
Regular coffee drinking is linked to:
Lower risk of type 2 diabetes
No increased risk of coronary artery disease or heart failure
Lower risk of stroke
No increased risk of atrial fibrillation (and may even reduce the risk)
π‘ Drink it wisely
Keep caffeine below 400 mg/day (about 3β4 cups of black coffee)
Choose filtered coffee when possible, as unfiltered coffee may raise LDL ("bad") cholesterol
Avoid large amounts of energy drinks
If caffeine causes palpitations or bothersome PVCs, cut back and see how your body responds

Ever Wonder Why You Feel So Much Better After a Massage?
It's not just because you're relaxing.
When muscles stay tight for long periods, they can feel stiff, sore, and tired. Massage helps support your body's natural circulation, which plays an important role in keeping tissues healthy and functioning well.
Here's how:
π©Έ 1. Supports Blood and Lymphatic Flow
The gentle pressure of massage helps encourage blood and lymph to move through the tissues more efficiently. This supports healthy circulation and fluid movement throughout the body.
πΏ 2. Enhances Oxygen and Nutrient Delivery
Good circulation helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to your muscles and other tissues. These are essential for your body's natural maintenance, recovery, and repair processes.
β¨ 3. Supports Your Body's Natural Recovery
As your cells work, they naturally produce metabolic byproducts. Healthy circulation helps transport these substances through the body's normal processing systems, including the lymphatic system, liver, and kidneys.
The result?
β Less muscle tension
β Better mobility
β Greater comfort and ease
Sometimes your body doesn't need more effortβit simply needs the right support.
