As a family with roots in both Aotearoa and Vanuatu (specifically Ureparapara), our culture, heritage, and community inspire everything we do. From our colours and patterns to the way we connect with our customers, these words help tell our story.

As someone with mixed hair, learning how to care for and love my natural curls has been a journey.

Not just because my hair became healthier…
But because I started feeling proud of my natural hair 🧡

A little piece of paradise inspired this brand 🌺
My nana came from the island of Ureparapara in Vanuatu, and this year I was lucky enough to return home and reconnect with family, culture, and community 🧡
Hearing stories about the legacy she left behind was a reminder of how important it is to know where you come from and carry that pride with you.
The colours, prints, and spirit behind Hibiscus Hair are inspired by our Pacific roots, and we'll always be proud of that 🏝️
