💅🏻✨️2025 WRAP UP💫🔥

As 2025 comes to an end, I just want to take a moment to reflect on what a year it’s been ✨

To my clients, its been a heavy one! Definitely the year of the snake 🐍! It’s been full of ups and downs. Breakups, loss, mental health struggles, many tears have been shed in studio this year! But we also had happy times too, with new relationships, babies, house moves, and personal milestones 🫶 I often think of you all once you have left, and hope you always leave my studio feeling not just beautiful, but heard 🤍

This year I had the privilege of sharing my space with Sky from 💄I couldn’t have asked for a better human to share this year with. Her calm, kind presence has made the studio feel so special, and I feel lucky to have made a friend for life. She also slays a face beat💅🏻

I also welcomed to the studio 💛 I hired Ange hoping to reduce my own studio time. It’s been a big learning curve, and having a staff member is a big commitment. I poured my full cup into Ange, and I have zero regrets. She’s insanely talented, taking on ten services in just six months (unheard of in this industry), and still has so much growth ahead. I'm excited to see where her journey takes her.

2026 will look a little different for Lydia Rose Studio & Academy ✨ It will only be me again, no more Sky, no more Ange😭. I'll also be moving to .beauty.nz in Havelock North from February 2nd 🏡 I’ll be dialing back my hours, no more split shifts or late nights, and focusing on my whānau–mahi balance. I’m excited to see where this new chapter takes me 🌸
