Calling my American nail friends! ✨🫶
Manifesting a trip to Southern California in October and would love recommendations for:
✨ Must-visit nail supply stores
✨ Professional brands open to visitors
✨ Factory tours or education centres
✨ Hidden gems
✨ Nail museums -if such a thing exists 😆
✨ Training and education opportunities
I plan to gather inspiration and ideas and report back via Finger Tips… plus it’s fun timing for the NZ Nail Competition’s Halloween themed Poster comp! Do I hear Disney calling… 😅💚
Calling all nail techs… please answer!
I crave a thriving nail industry where we share in our love and passion for the craft.
Less division please!!!
The nz nail comp is a stage to celebrate and express, network and inspire… but for what? And to what?
Do you personally believe you can make this “hobby” your career? Do you see career opportunities?
For the nz nail comp to function it needs novices to enter and make their way through to masters - to then become judges. Without judges there is no point of a novice etc
Brands can use this as an opportunity to
1 scope out potential talent to recruit educators or brand ambassadors.
2 get their product into the hands of nail techs taking their craft seriously and actively seeking growth and skill development.
3 see the competition as a platform for brand awareness and industry support.
Brands need nail techs to be successful so they have long careers and buy lots of nail products.
Nail techs need brands to be successful so they are high in basic stock, can invest in training educators and support events like the nz nail comp -so that you can use award winning nail tech as a way to market and gain clients all while becoming successful nail professionals.
It’s an ecosystem and yes there are many ways to have a successful nail career (especially as only you can define what success means) but as a whole we all need to play our part for the nail industry to really truly thrive 🫶🤍✨
Be honest, I’m listening 🤍
What’s the part of being a nail tech no one prepared you for?
Or… if you like we can chat in person over iced coffee! 🫶😍 I’ve organised another nail industy meet up for Sunday the 22nd of Feb (this month.) It’s happening in Taupō - link in bio or comments if you’re seeing this on Facebook.

✨ Exciting news ✨
I’ve been involved in the nail industry for almost 15 years… but I’ve loved nails since ages ago. I’ve seen trends come and go, businesses rise and fall, and artists either evolve or burn out.
Over this time I’ve noticed something… Education, networking, and collaboration seriously help you grow and even to thrive in your nail career.
That’s why I’m genuinely excited to share that I’m joining the Nail Mastery Bootcamp this February.
I can’t wait to help you gain the confidence, and skills needed to get to the next level.
It’s not often we’re blessed with international education right here at home. And a full week of hands-on training? Honestly… that’s almost unheard of. This isn’t your average workshop. This is deep immersion, confidence building, skill sharpening, door opening kind of learning. (Also available virtually for those unable to attend in person)
Yes, it’s an investment. But so are you!
This Bootcamp could change the trajectory of your career. Are you ready???
I’ve seen what happens when artists back themselves and I’ve seen what happens when they don’t. Opportunities like this don’t come around often. Especially when they aren’t supported. For some, this really could be a once-in-a-lifetime type of experience.
So… if you’re ready to step into the next chapter of your career this is your chance. I have my own special link -you can find it in my bio, including more details on what you can expect from the Nail Mastery Bootcamp.
And… if you’ve been thinking about entering the this year?
👀 Sharpen your skills.
Build your confidence.
Put yourself in rooms that stretch you.
It’s 2026 baby!!!!
Follow the link, and trust the nudge if it’s there 💅✨Future-you will be very glad you did.
And now you know I’ll be there, cheering you on and keeping it real 😉🥳

Just wrapped my first back to basics: mastering the fundamentals workshop… and honestly, i’m still deciding who should’ve been paying who because that was way too much fun 😌
I travelled to palmy for this one, and we covered the fundamentals that actually change your work… tools, products, pressure, purpose. we used christmas designs as our practice ground, but the techniques are universal. once you get the “why,” everything clicks.
With the just around the corner!
more of these are coming to hawke’s bay and around nz. If you want a 1:1 or want me to bring a workshop to your area, drop your location in the comments
