Microneedling is used to rejuvenate the skin and support concerns like fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, acne, enlarged pores, redness and pigmentation.

As you can see, māmā Nat’s skin is quite red post-treatment. This redness (erythema) is a normal and expected response, and can vary depending on the individual and the depth we’re working at.

Part of what you’re seeing here is increased activity in the skin’s capillaries tiny blood vessels close to the surface bringing fresh oxygen and nutrients to support repair and regeneration.

After treatment, the skin may feel warm, tight, and slightly tingly, and can appear pink to red for a short time. This settles as the skin rejuvenates.
