It’s been a minute!
Some of you may have seen my lovely face on fences in shops and in other random places around Vegas 😊I have not, as some people thought become a real estate agent! After much thought and 🙏 I have decided to give standing for ICC Invercargill City Council one final crack!
WHY? Because I love people and I love Invercargill. I think I have something to offer- genuine authentic engagement with our community. To give our community a voice around the table. Someone said to me recently “Lisa you are the People’s champ!” I had never really thought about that, but maybe I am?
People have asked “How is the Campaign going?” What does that mean? Does it mean you go and meet more people only during this time?
For me I am the community and the community is me. I am doing my usual thing as part of the community. However maybe I need to be seen and connect with even more people…?

To be honest I like being behind the scenes, bringing people together, building capability, making connections, enabling opportunities, however I also love meeting people where they are at, hearing what they need, their dreams and hopefully being able to fulfil some of those needs and make those dreams a reality.
