It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of Liz Ward. A true force in our industry and a deeply special human being.
Liz opened her first salon at just 23 years old, a reflection of her courage, vision, and unwavering belief in what was possible. Her achievements were many, far too many to list. Including being awarded Hairdresser of the Year, but her greatest legacy goes far beyond accolades. Liz devoted herself to education, mentoring, judging, and shaping the next generation of stylists, always giving generously of her time, knowledge, and heart.
Liz had a rare superpower: she could make you see just how much potential you truly had. In her presence, people felt safe, valued, and deeply seen. Before meeting Liz, many of us felt small, she had a way of lifting you up, believing in you until you believed in yourself. She made people feel special simply by being who she was.
This is a profound loss for our entire community, and an unimaginable one for her family, whom our hearts are wrapped around during this time. Liz’s impact will continue to ripple through the lives she touched, the careers she shaped, and the confidence she gave so freely.
She will be missed more than words can ever express. Until we meet again Liz, we all love you ❤️

A new era begins! After more than 40 years in the industry with to many accolades and achievements to mention, being a business owner the last 34 years and dedicated to the education and development in the hairdressing community and apprentices… Liz has decided to retire!
The salon will be closed as of the 30th September. We would like to personally thank all the special people that made this possible, clients who became friends over the years and stuck with us through it all, you know who you are. Thank you for your loyalty and support.
