Our Salon Booking & Cancellation Policy

We love being your go-to salon and truly value the time we spend with our clients. To ensure we can continue providing the highest level of service and availability to everyone, we are updating our appointment booking and cancellation policy.
Our stylists prepare for your arrival well in advance. When an appointment is missed or cancelled at the last minute, it leaves a gap that another client on our waitlist misses out on.
Therefore we will be implementing late cancellation and missed appointment policies.
Our Policy Guidelines as follows.
Cancellation Window: We kindly request at least 48 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.
Unless it is due to illness or bereavement, we totally understand and no fee will be applied.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations made under the required window of 24 hours will incur a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service cost.

No-Shows: Failing to show up without any prior notice will result in a 50% charge of the service amount, and future bookings will require prepayment.

Late to an appointment: if you are more than 15 minutes late, please be prepared that we may not be able to fully accommodate you and your service you were booked in for.

We completely understand that emergencies and sudden illnesses happen. If an unexpected situation arises, please get in touch with us as soon as possible so we can work with you.
Please remember sometimes our stylists come in on their day off, or work later/earlier for you to be able to get an appointment, so we ask that you respect their time 💜

Just a heads up if you have an appointment in the next 2 weeks please be aware there are renovations going on at Subway next door to us.
So car parks could be busy with trade vans, also quite a lot of noise. We were made aware of the renovations, just not the noise levels. We apologise in advance, maybe bring some earphones 🫨🤭

Due to some roads still being blocked for staff to travel to work safely and some new ceiling leaks at the salon we will be CLOSED today, Thursday January 22nd.
Clients booked in today will be contacted and rescheduled.

We'd also like to acknowledge the passing of our fellow hairdresser and friend, Liz Ward. Her legendary status in the hairdressing industry will not be forgotten, nor will her dedication to our community. We are thinking of her family and friends and sending lots of love to them at this difficult time.

Exciting news! The lovely Michelle is back this Friday 9th May! Former owner of the Halo room in Waihi, Michelle came and did a couple months working with us in the salon late last year, then had some time off for her ankle surgery. Happy new year to our valued clients, we hope you had a safe and happy festive season 💛
We look forward to seeing you all throughout 2024, we are back to our regular hours after some shorter weeks, however we are still very busy and are finding we are basically booked out for 6-8 weeks ahead, so we suggest re-booking not 1 but maybe 3 appointments ahead.
Amy, Abby and Chanelle do there upmost best to fit everyone in and often do extra days and hours to meet everyone’s needs, but please remember we still have our own family commitments and of course much needed rest and relaxation and time to enjoy the summer, so on that note please do not get upset if we have to stretch out your appointment by an extra few days. We appreciate you for your continued support and understanding 💛
