Matariki marks the Māori New Year, a time to remember those who have passed, celebrate the present with loved ones, and look ahead with hope. With Matariki just around the corner, celebrated this year on Friday 10th July, our yoga classes this week and next are inspired by Matariki. Our focus will be; reflection, gratitude, and new beginnings. Please note there will still be classes running over the upcoming long weekend. If you are staying close to home this Matariki, please feel welcome to join us for yoga.

Also just around the corner is our special candlelight yoga session, Sunday 26th July. I have been busy creating some beeswax luminaries and beeswax candles especially for our July Sunday yoga session. It's been the perfect activity for me to craft these at home on recent cold and rainy weekends. For those of you that are booked in, you're in for a cosy winter candlelight treat this July.

This time next year, I have planned a trip to Byron Bay. I'm looking forward to spending some time in the slightly warmer climate of Byron Bay, NSW and will be co-hosting Byron Bay Bliss retreat with the wonderful Jen Barnes at Byron Yoga Centre.
