A little update on appointment deposits 🩷

A $50 deposit is required to secure all appointments at Sage Skin Co. Your deposit is fully redeemable towards your treatment on the day.

I understand that life happens, kids get sick and sometimes plans genuinely need to change. Wherever possible, please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Appointment reminders are sent 48 hours before your booking, giving you an opportunity to get in touch if anything has changed.

Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment, or failure to attend, will result in your $50 deposit being forfeited. A new $50 deposit will then be required to secure your next appointment.

If you become unwell, please do not attend your appointment just to avoid losing your deposit. Get in touch with me as soon as possible. Genuine illness and exceptional circumstances will always be considered individually.

As a small business, last-minute cancellations leave appointment spaces that are often impossible to refill. This policy simply helps protect the time that has been reserved specifically for you.

Running a clinic, working another nursing job, raising 3 girls, building a house, trying to have some form of a social life… while also apparently being a receptionist, photographer, content creator and social media manager 🫠

A melasma journey 🤎

Honestly, HOW clear is her skin?! ✨

This gorgeous client has tried so many different treatments and lasers over the years to help with her pigmentation, without ever getting a result that really lasted.

We decided to take a different approach with a Cosmelan treatment, followed by consistent at-home care, daily SPF and being mindful of the things we know can trigger melasma.

Summer is almost here… which means it’s time to get a little more serious about SPF.
(Although yes, technically we should be wearing it all year round 👀)

If you’ve looked at the TiZO range and wondered “okay… but which one do I actually need?”, here’s the breakdown:

TiZO Ultra Zinc SPF 40
Your all-rounder. Tinted mineral protection for face + body, with antioxidants C & E. A great option if you want something versatile, especially for those longer summer days outside.

TiZO 2 SPF 40
The non-tinted one. A silky mineral facial sunscreen + primer that dries to a beautifully smooth, matte finish. Perfect under makeup and a good pick if you don’t want any tint.

TiZO 3 SPF 40
The tinted facial primer + sunscreen. Gives that same silky, matte primer finish while the tint helps even out the appearance of the skin. One of those SPF-but-make-it-pretty products.
