I done it again for the second time in a row I took out 1st place in the Henna/Hybrid Brows category at the .nz conference ๐
Not gonna lie it was different entering this year for me because I was very hard on myself and was really strict about my mahi and what I wanted to enter. I was comparing my mahi to my last entry that won at LABSNZ2025 and basically held myself to a really high standard which got to a point I wasnโt actually going to enter ๐ but then I took a step back and said to myself I can do this and just hurry up and submit your wok ๐ so I did and I got it again! Iโm so proud of myself and how far Iโve come and happy and grateful to put another beautiful taonga next to the one I have โจ๐ช

LABSNZ Part 2 ๐ฅ
I realised I didnโt get a lot of footage ๐ but Iโm okay with that I just really wanted to enjoy the event and be present with this whole experience but s**t were we spoilt! From learning, to celebrating and having fun. Who wouldnโt want to experience this!? ๐พ

So grateful to have been in a room full of these amazing people who were so full of knowledge and got to share their kลrero with us. I walked away with my cup over flowing and learnt so many new things, which I canโt wait to add to my own business and experiences. Again this was something very much worth it! As someone whoโs very shy I was able to put myself out there and connect with so many new people which is something I am very proud of ๐ฅฐ

The last two days I attended .nz 2026 and what an experience that was! The amount of knowledge and skills I learnt over the 2 days was sooo much. Every moment was worth it! I met so many good people and got to catch up with some friends. So grateful to have been apart of this years conference. This years speakers were a whole bunch of baddies and they are all so talented ๐ฅ More post to come ๐คญ
If I was you Iโd secure my ticket asap when they release for 2027 ๐ cause you definitely donโt want to be missing out again.
