A special shout out to my A Team behind the scenesā¦.š„¹
Typing this brought tears to my eyes as I reflect on all that we have been through these past few months š„ŗā¤ļø.
To my amazing, super talented, humble hearted Chaperone Mae Hafoka!š¤You have been my biggest inspiration and supporter on this journey, and you definitely deserve this acknowledgement post even though I know youād rather just stay behind the scenes. I love you so much and all that you have done for me from the very beginning. Many may not know you from my socials but today this special shout out goes to you and the amazing team you have brought along with you to help me. Not only have you lend your support through teaching, but also for being the best host and letting me travel back and forth providing a home to stay in. Hereās a Bible verse that reflects humbleness, hard work, determination, care, and love.
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Philippians 2:3-4
This verse emphasizes the importance of humility, selflessness, and caring for others. It encourages putting others first and doing all things with a heart of love, kindness, and a willingness to serve, reflecting both hard work and determination in the service of others. I could go on and on with a list of things to thank you for, because that is how awesome you were to me, and I thank God for blessing me with youšš„ŗ.
To my public speaking coach / communication and presentation coach June Charlie Tearaā¤ļø.
Everyday I am reminded about how blessed I am to have you. Your intelligence and positive energy has helped me build confidence within myself, whether thatās in public speaking or body positivity. Like you always say, āAmber I have given you all the tools you need, itās upto you how youāll use it.ā
A Bible verse that I feel truly describes you on this journey is Proverbs 27:17
āAs iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.ā
This verse speaks to the power of positive, encouraging friendships. Just as iron sharpens iron, good friends help each other grow, strengthen one another, and cultivate a positive, uplifting environment.
You are definitely an inspiration to many and I hope this isnāt our last time working together, all my love š„ŗā¤ļø.
To my amazing talent choreographer Miss Royal AKA (Niva on time š ifykyk) š„²šš¤©! You have definitely helped me heaps on this journey especially for my talent choreography.
Thank you for bringing my vision to life through dance and for all that you have taught me to possibly achieve. Working alongside you with this unimaginable concept for my talent would have been a mission if I had to do it on my own, so I thank you so so much for being that point of contact who offered great support for myself on this journeyā¤ļø.
A huge Meitaki and thank you my sister Maggie Nanaiš¤From the very beginning, youāve been there to support me. You helped me decide whether to join the pageant and have been there for me while juggling work, family, and everything else. Thank you for always believing in me and showing me I can do anything. Youāve helped with so many things, from finding chaperones to sorting out the budget and even booking my flights from Napier to Auckland. I couldnāt have done this without you. Iām so grateful for everything youāve done!
My dear Nicolea Mateariki šøsister Boy, my media, my rock ā words truly canāt express how grateful I am for you. Through every moment of this pageant journey, youāve been the steady hand thatās helped guide me. Whether itās keeping our families updated on social media when Iāve had to step away, offering words of wisdom, or staying up late with me for Q&A practices, your unwavering support has been a constant. You always know exactly what I need, even when I canāt put it into words. You are not just my sister; you are my biggest encourager, my safe place, and the one who believes in me when I sometimes struggle to believe in myself. Your dedication to helping me succeed is a gift I will forever cherish. I am in awe of your heart, your love, and your strength. You have shown me what true selflessness looks like. Thank you for being my anchor, my rock, and my greatest support. I adore you more than I can say. I know I can always count on you, and for that, I am so incredibly blessed. Thank you for walking this journey with me and for always lifting me up. A beautiful Bible verse that reflects the love, support, and strength youāre expressing for your sister is:
1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV):
āTherefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.ā
This verse beautifully captures the spirit of encouragement and support that my sister has shown me throughout my pageant journey.
Tiiiiiiiiah!!! šŗ
A huge thank you to my sissy for being our kata and making sure everything is on point in Raro with our costumes. Your dedication, effort, and willingness to run around, organize, and handle everything we need doesnāt go unnoticed.
We are so grateful for you and the vital role you play in helping bring our vision to life. Meitaki maata for your love and support, our success is truly a reflection of the amazing team behind us.
Not forgetting the amazing and talented Mareta Angene, for your amazing contribution with my launch muumuu, dresses, and accessories! Your talent and creativity shine so brightly in every piece. Iām beyond grateful not just for the beautiful designs but for the faith and love you pour into everything you do.

I am truly blessed with the best šš«¶

Happy Sabbath, family and friendsāļø
Today, I feel truly blessed as we attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I wore a special dress that holds so much meaning. Five years ago, my beautiful cousin Brooke Tinomana wore this dress during her pageant before leaving the shores of the Cook Islands. She entrusted it to me, and Iāve cared for it ever since. Now, five years later, I have the honor of wearing it for my own journey, carrying her story and our shared memories with me. Thank you, cousin and Aunty Noeline Mateariki for this beautiful gift. May we all feel Godās love and grace today.
