Our Story
Hi, My name is Marnie and I practice holistic massage in beautiful Nelson, Aotearoa.
I was drawn to study massage therapy through a mixture of things. My personality combines a scientific sense of inquiry, creativity and a growing awareness of the emotional/spiritual side of being human. This and an increasing interest in physical and mental wellbeing, led to my undertaking study in Anatomy and Physiology and Holistic Massage in 2013. Later I also studied Myofascial Release with wonderful teacher Beth Beauchamp.
As well as the physically therapeutic side of massage, I see it very much as a time for the client to take some complete time out, to just be on the table, relax - while someone else does the work for a while! I hope that this is what you will experience in your session with me.
