Oh My Glitter Nails

Thought I’d better do a quick update, as most of my beautiful clients are already aware but for the ones I’ve missed, I’ve been put on strict bed rest by my obstetrician until I can get myself sorted. Ive been diagnosed with Pots syndrome so just going from sitting to standing my blood pressure goes from extremely low to skyrocketing like I’ve been running a marathon, which in turn makes me pass out or close to passing out. So now I’m sporting some cool new socks (compression stockings) and I’m having to do sweet F all of nothing, if you know me, you’ll understand how hard it is for me to just sit lol. My amazing obstetrician had warned me there is a possibility I may delivery miss Millie-Mae early if I can’t get on top of this fingers xd I can keep baking her for the next 4wks at least lol. I’ve struggled a lot with this pregnancy and all of you ladies have been so accommodating and accepting when I have needed to change things at the last minute, it is so appreciated and I wanna say a huge thank you to all of you. I will definitely be back at work at some stage and I’ll be in contact with you all when I am. Xx if you have any questions regarding your nails and appointments please flick me a msg xx 😘

This Saturday the 17th I am hosting a pink ribbon brunch / afternoon tea, to raise money for breast cancer foundation. I have some very special people in my life who have been affected by breast cancer so will be hosting this on behalf of them! You know who you are 🥰
If any of my friends would like to join us let me know so I can add you to the event. I’ll be providing the snack and nibbles 😝
Along side this I will have a gift basket full of goodies up for grabs. Raffle tickets can be purchased on the day or prior. All proceeds will be going towards the event. Tickets are $2 and will be drawn on the 22nd May.

Another piece of my heart tore this morning when we made the very tough decision to put our beautiful fur baby to rest. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever. Go chase all the birds, play in the water, and run free beautiful girl. We loved you your whole life and will miss you for the rest of ours! I’ll miss your barks and making sure I always had vacuuming to do from all your fur. Today my forest is dark, the trees are sad and all the butterflies have broken wings 😭. Rest now our fur baby Skye Lemin 💚

That’s my team 🥰😝😂 was so blessed to stand beside one of my long time besties while she said yaaaaassss to marrying her new best friend. I am so happy for you both and look forward to many happy moments with you both 🖤

As many of you are aware our beautiful baby was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes a couple of months ago. Sadly Skye has lost her eyesight now because of this and we are having to adjust our lives again. If she comes down to the salon to say hi please understand she is very talkative (always has been so she will “cry”) but she can no longer see you or the wheels on the chair so if she comes to sniff you out don’t run her wee paws over trying to pat her lol, if you feel uncomfortable please let me know as I will happily send her back to bed.
