Finally after 2 eye surgerys it’s time to get new glasses so I can actually see properly again and get back to work in the new year. Picking frames is hard but I choose these, now just have to wait 2 weeks for them to arrive! Praying they are right for me as iv had lots of trouble getting glasses in the past. 🙏🧐 all I want for Christmas is good vision 😀

First time wearing mascara since eye surgery 3 weeks ago. Vision is very distorted between both eyes having different problems, still awaiting date for other eye to be done (hurry up hospital I’m on the urgent list), having laser eye procedure to help finish left eye early November and in the mean time I have to live without glasses as my prescription no longer works at all so very weird distorted vision which causes me a lot of bad headaches, abit of dizziness , nausea and my balance to be a bit off at times so I really am unable to work at the moment which is probably the hardest thing for me to cope with. I’m trying to keep busy with housework and decluttering when I feel ok and going for walks but it’s been a very challenging time and I was not prepared for it to be like this. But again it could be worse and these times teach us alot about ourselves and draw us closer to relying on God as we really are not in control of anything in this life. I’ll just keep doing my best and being patient. This wont last foever 👍🤪

Eye surgery recovery going pretty good but is not easy. The surgery was actually pretty horrible and quite painful 😩 which is not common but I guess I am very sensitive and numbing didnt work that well on me, (I’ll ask for way more when I get my other eye done). The cloudiness in my eye is gone and it’s very bright and clear for things in the distance yay, but mid distance and up close is extremely blurry, so reading is very difficult and causes me bad headaches and to feel quite sick 🤢 hopefully this improves as my eyes heal. I can see to drive properly again, yay. Iv been feeling pretty tired as my eyes are working very hard with so many vision changes so I’m so glad I’m off work and able to rest and take things slow at the moment. Not sure when I’ll be able to return to eyelash extensions but I’ll take it as it comes. Thankful to have clear eye again but all of this is pretty hard going and iv been a bit down and delicate, but God has got me in his hands, so ill just trust him and try to be patient 🙏👍 Missing all my lovely clients x
