a few house keeping rules to adhere to people. Covid-19 is still with us and we need to adhere to the new rules.

Please Please don't come to your appointment if you are even slightly unwell or have been near someone who is unwell, this ensures your well being, my wellbeing and the safety of my business- we do not want to be shut down for days or weeks- if contract tracing came back to us, this is what would happen. We cannot jeopardize any businesses.

You will not need to register for Covid-19 tracing as the computer booking is suffice.

Please hand sanitise as you arrive to your appointment, station at the door.

Refreshments, tea and coffee will not be served in level two, but please feel free to bring your own.

Magazines are now banned from salons until further notice but again feel free to bring your own! - sorry

PPE will be worn by myself, you are not required to wear this but if you feel the need please do.

Every appointment will take longer, two main reasons everyone is overdue and will need more time, colour product and effort on our part, but also our new regulations for sanitising every styling bay, chairs added to all the normal sanitation of tools used takes time and one on one clients mean less people we can fit in a day. Please be patient.

If you arrive at your appointment early or I am running behind please stay in your car until the last client has left.

Please come to your appointment alone, this includes children, it is strictly one on one appointments only.

So after that - I'm really excited to be back and can't wait to catch up with everyones lockdown stories and see what hair do's we have to fix!

This is the time to care for your vulnerable and old, we cannot be too careful.
With Jacinda Ardern"s address to the country on Saturday, and even before that with the knowledge I have from our health professionals and from family living abroad, I will be temporarily closing my doors to do my part helping our country stamp this out. I care far too much about all of you to endanger you or my family at this time.
This decision is not made lightly, you all know I love my work and look forward to seeing you all everyday. I have a strong sense of responsibility to you all but also to my family, my friends and this our countries health and wellbeing.
Being open as usual (until level 3 is here and we are forced to shut) makes me feel very uneasy and does not help limit peoples movements or social distancing, which is impossible in a salon, (this is my opinion only- as 1 metre distance is not an option when colouring, foiling, fringes or touching faces) I feel extremely torn at this but closing before told to, can hopefully show I care, and am I extremely worried that people are not taking this seriously, if we all do our bit now, we can be back to some kind of normal work and life without too much loss, and in the shortest time possible.
We might all end up with a terrible regrowth (I can send out touch up spray or powder!) or super long hair but its hair, its not essential, we can survive, and hopefully laugh at what we all look like at the next appointment.
Please stay safe until this is over, please support each other and make the sacrifices needed to get rid of this.
