It has been a while since my last post, so I thought I should introduce myself again…

Hi, I’m Lydia — skin therapist & founder of Skin & Tonic Aesthetics. My own PCOS journey sparked a passion for skin, leading me to work in advanced clinics across NZ & the UK. In 2019, I returned home to open my studio in the heart of Palmerston North, where I offer personalised, results-driven care using advanced technology (some exclusive to Skin & Tonic).

Skin & Tonic is a warm, welcoming space where you’ll get personalised care, relaxing treatments and real results — complete with cuddles from Franklin, my fluffy dachshund assistant!

This client has been with me since struggling with acne prone skin. Her acne is now under control and we have moved onto micro-needling the skin to improve post acne scarring, pigmentation, overall skin texture and suppleness.
Micro-needling involves puncturing the skin with thin needles to create tiny wounds, triggering the skin’s repair mechanisms to stimulate collagen and elastin production as well as penetrating active ingredients deeper into the skin.
