Feeling so blessed after such an amazing weekend with these amazing humans giving Him praise, my cup is overflowing ❤️‍🔥

You are not designed to have a 9 to 5 with the Lord. The longer that I have been in love with Jesus, the more that I have had people question, what steps, what tools, what tricks to get that? The answer is daily intimate time with the Lord. Generally I get back yes and but what else.

I think this is wrapped up in a performance orientation of us thinking that we have to be productive with God in order to gain intimacy with Him. Some of the most sacred depth and full meaningful moments that I have with God is when I’m doing something that feels completely unproductive.

Why this matters is because we have to stop thinking that our value to Jesus can be earned, because that will keep us in a mindset of those that have proximity with God must be doing more for God.

In order to fear God and have reverence towards Him, we have to see him as a father that we can trust. That’s why we’re called to come to him as a child. What does a child do? They sit, they ask questions, they spend time with their father.

The solution to staying in love is giving Him time.

The cross already demonstrated your value to Him.
