POWDER ISN'T JUST POWDER! 🤍

There are different types, formulations and finishes — and they all have different purposes.

✨ Loose translucent powder — mainly used to set liquid/cream makeup. A mattifying formula can help absorb excess oil, making it great for oily or combination skin.

✨ Pigmented loose powder — can add colour, brighten or colour-correct while also giving a finishing effect.

✨ Compact powder — available in translucent or pigmented formulas. Depending on the product, it can set, blur, mattify, add coverage or even be used as a powder foundation.

✨ Baked mineral powder — created from a liquid formulation that's baked into powder. It can give beautiful, natural-looking coverage and a luminous finish, making it especially lovely for mature or drier skin.

✨ Loose mineral powder — can be used as a foundation on its own or to lightly set another foundation. A luminous mineral powder is beautiful over a glowy BB/CC cream when you want to set your makeup without taking away the glow.

And that's why I don't believe there's one powder that's best for everyone.

It's about understanding YOUR skin, the base you're using, the coverage you want and the finish you're trying to create.

Which brings us back to Know Your Own Face.

One concealer won't necessarily work for your undereyes and on blemishes!

And this is where so many women get frustrated.

They buy a concealer that is raved about online, only to find it creases, looks too heavy, doesn't cover what they wanted it to cover… or somehow makes their dark under-eyes look worse.
