Subject: New Zealand Distribution of Hadassah Healing Oils Products
Kindly note that going forward, you will unfortunately need to place orders personally through the Hadassah Healing Oils website:

This is currently the only legal way for individuals in New Zealand to obtain these products for personal use. Please note that the quantity ordered must not exceed a three-month supply.
In August 2025, Medsafe New Zealand, in conjunction with Customs New Zealand, determined that most of Hadassah Healing Oils’ products are classified as New Medicines under New Zealand law. This classification is based on product labelling, product names, website content, and the pharmaceutical claims made.
As a result, it is strictly prohibited to:
• Sell, advertise, or distribute these products
• Offer them as free samples
Doing so contravenes the Medicines Act 1981 of New Zealand. Consequently, no official distributor of these products can legally operate in New Zealand.
Anyone who attempts to distribute these products risks facing serious penalties, including:
• A fine of up to NZD $20,000
• Or imprisonment for up to six months
Additionally, suppliers would be required to make a false declaration to Customs New Zealand by claiming the products were for personal use in order to import them.
This makes it impossible to act as a legal distributor in New Zealand unless registered as a pharmaceutical company or medical practitioner with the appropriate licensing from Medsafe and MPI.
For these reasons, OiliO Aotearoa Ltd can no longer act as a distributor or supplier of Hadassah Healing Oils products in New Zealand.
