It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, I’ve been completely sidetracked by our gorgeous wee man and learning how to be a mum.
I’m really excited to be picking up my tools again though from the 24th of January with the girls at The Salon !

So it’s been way to long since I posted and here’s my reason why…..
Our wee man Hunter Toa Hey was born on the 3rd of May and we are in love 🥰 We had a hectic last month before his arrival and with finishing up at work for maternity leave I didn’t have a lot of time to reach out on here but please know I appreciate every single one of you , your continued support and understanding.
Hunter and I will be hanging out figuring out the parenting business for the next few months but hope to make a come back to Jo Boyer Hair early in the new year .
I will keep everyone updated but in the meantime I hope I’ll see you out and about xx

Dear Clients,

I truly value each and every one of you and your time in my chair. Your appointment time is booked for you and you only, I have ditched double booking to make sure that I am giving you 100% of my attention.

This means that a last minute cancellation or no show really affects my small business as it is near impossible to fill at short notice. I have therefore had to enforce my 24hr cancellation policy.

Online bookings will now require a deposit which will be taken off the the final bill, refunded if app is canceled outside of the 24hr period or applied if cancelled within that time frame .

I do understand that sickness and emergencies do come up and I will always be understanding in these situations.

I just ask that where possible you give me at least 24hours notice when something comes up so that I can fill your spot.

2022 has been a big year for me personally and professionally.

Transitioning with my wee business has had its challenges especially through the ups and downs of life coming out of a pandemic as I’m sure all of you can relate.

I love being a part of Pure Hair and working alongside the gals there, even though we work as our own businesses , the support and friendship within our team has created the perfect place to welcome you all into.

Thank you so much for your continued support and trust in me, I love doing hair but just as much I love getting to know you and making you feel like a mill in my chair.

As some of you may know we have a few changes ahead in the salon so I wanted to share Sarah’s (Pure Hair) post to explain.
Rest assured I will still be operating from the same place just in a slightly smaller part 🙂
I love getting to see all of my beautiful clients within Pure Hair and although I will miss Rhi and Geanna dearly I am excited to watch them on there new adventures 🙂
I can’t wait to see you all soon!

When I opened Pure six years ago I never imagined the rollercoaster ride I was embarking on! From hiring my first-of-many employees, to expanding the salon to ten times the size within six months. From opening a barbershop, to closing for a worldwide pandemic. As with all roller coaster rides, there have been many ups and downs, and twists and turns; and I wouldn't change any of it.

I wanted a few months with Millie first to decide what I wanted to do before I made any major decisions about the future of the business; which is why I am making you aware of these changes now and not a few months ago when I wouldn't have been able to answer any questions you may have. 

I am a massive believer in trusting the universe. When I realised a few months back the renewal of the lease would coincide with my team becoming smaller, I feel a decision was made organically. As of Wednesday 1st February we will be operating from the 'small salon' - back where we started six years ago! 

We are very excited to shape a relaxing and intimate salon experience for each of you, with our time and focus being solely on you and your visit to Pure.

Moving forward Charlotte and Jo will continue to rent a chair from the salon; but as for Pure itself, it will just be me part time for salon appointments. For this reason, I am going to turn off online bookings. For appointment inquiries please email [email protected]. We can not and will not be able to make appointments in person, over the phone or via social media.

I want to say a massive thank you to Geana, Rhi, Charlotte and Jo who have kept the salon running and allowed me to focus my time and energy on these precious first few months with Millie. 

To all of our clients along the way - thank you so much for your continued support and patience. We know these last few months have been hard to get appointments and my communication has been slow. 

Thank you again for your support, and we wish Rhi and Geana all the best for 2023. I am so grateful to have worked with them both, along with every other person who has been part of my Pure journey 💕

Everyones hair contains disulfide bonds that give the hair its structure, strength, and stability.
When disulfide bonds break, it results in damage.
restores compromised or damaged hair by repairing it from the inside out by re-linking those broken bonds back together again.
So, how does this translate into a salon service?
During a chemical process, the chemicals are working against the hair by breaking bonds to create a color or texture change. By adding N°1 into a chemical service, you are mitigating the damage done during the chemical process. Imagine with boxing gloves fighting against damage, one strand at a time. 🥊
