After almost 13 years on Earl street, it's got me thinking of all the amazing clients and stories that have come through our doors, and what an absolute ride it’s been.

But most of all, it's got me thinking of the amazing women who have been an integral part of the success of The Wax Room.

Reef, Emma, Rachel, Aneeqah, Alisha, Elle, Donna, Emily, Josie, and Roby. 🤍

Each one of you has been a shoulder, a supporter, a dancing partner, and an all-round legend in your individual ways.

✨ From the first days behind Botswana, to Reef and Emma soldering through my emotions and moving us to the Ghetto. Furniture removalists and positive vibe bringers—and Emma, still sorting me out with the HIAB for the new salon, you absolute G, still a part of the fam always ❤️

✨ Elle, 7 years we made each other laugh and cry! We fight and love like blood and I wouldn't have it any other way. I miss your face in the salon every day, but know you are my wife for life.

✨ Reef, my sounding board and biggest cheerleader. Your sage advice and respect have meant the absolute world to me over the last 11 years. From signing me up to do outrageous meditation and exercise classes, to giving me the hard word when I've needed it. We don't see each other every day anymore, but we still find ways to let each other know "I got you and always will". You just mean THE most, you know that. "Hey Reef, I'm about to get in a helicopter, you get the salon if I die!" 😂

I am grateful to have had you all at my side.

I'm so proud of the milestones we have shared since knowing each other—babies, weddings, house buying, excelling in new careers, new businesses, and travel. Through it all, the key thing from me is that I will always show up for you, whenever you need, or however long it's been.

As we make the move out of town I am so grateful to have Josie at my side, who cracks me up every day, being just as crazy as me, and Roby, who is so incredibly dedicated and brings the best energy to the team every single day. ⚡️
