I currently only open my books 8 weeks in advance. I also do not rebook any of my clients; all my clients rebook their appointments themselves through my website. This gives me the opportunity and flexibility to be present as a mum, wife, and focus on other companies I own.

I’ve been incorporating this business model since I started hairdressing in Queenstown. When I worked as a salon owner in Christchurch, I was booked up months in advance and unable to take on new clients. It served me for many years; however, that business model no longer serves me.
