We’d love to take a moment to re introduce ourselves and share how we support our local Seniors.

Wakatipu Tech Care is built on patience, respect, and a genuine commitment to senior citizens. Our focus is on making technology feel less intimidating and more empowering through clear guidance, kindness, and care that truly goes beyond a quick fix.

We offer calm, one-on-one tech support tailored to each individual, including device setup, learning sessions, data transfer, troubleshooting, scam checks, virus protection, and support for phones, tablets, computers, and TVs.

Our goal is simple: to help seniors feel confident, safe, and stress-free using the technology that keeps them connected to everyday life. 😌

The response to our Anniversary Senior Treat was truly overwhelming. We received so many heartfelt nominations, each one reminding us just how many wonderful people make our community a better place.

So we’ve decided to keep this little tradition going. ❤️

And to everyone who previously sent us a nomination ,please know that it has not been forgotten. All previous nominations will be carried forward and considered for our upcoming Senior Treats.

We are incredibly grateful to Pacific Jemm for generously sponsoring our next treat: a beautiful Spring/Summer Breakfast Cruise aboard the Pacific Jemm for two local seniors. 🛥️

As always, our Senior Treats are nomination-based. Nominations are kept confidential and treated with the utmost care and respect. There is no expectation for our recipients to be photographed, posted on social media, or used for promotion.

This is simply a gift for them to enjoy ,a lovely morning on the lake, good food, beautiful views, and hopefully a memory they can carry with them long after the cruise is over.

Thank you once again to everyone who has nominated someone, supported these little acts of kindness, and helped us celebrate the people who make our community so special. ❤️

To celebrate Wakatipu Tech Care turning one on September 17 , we wanted to give a little something back to the people who have always been at the heart of what we do ,our lovely local seniors. 🤍

And we received the most wonderful YES from The Rees Hotel Queenstown.

We’ll be treating two lovely local seniors to a beautiful dining experience at True South Dining Room ,The Rees’ award-winning restaurant, proudly featured in the Michelin Guide 2026. ✨

A beautiful lakeside setting, seasonal New Zealand produce, and a little taste of Queenstown’s wonderful hospitality.

But more than the beautiful food, this treat is about manaakitanga ❤️kindness, care and making someone feel genuinely special.

As always, this will be nomination-based. No need to follow, like or share to be chosen. You can choose to DM us for private nomination too. We simply want to hear about a local senior who deserves a little spoiling. Perhaps they’ve spent years caring for others, quietly contributed to our community, had a difficult season, or you simply think it’s their turn to be looked after. 🥹
