My name is Chasity and this is a part of my journey.

For a long time, I searched for connection..to myself, to my purpose and to the deeper meaning behind the path I walk. Through that journey I came to understand the importance of Disconnect to Reconnect.

Stepping away from the noise allowed me to listen again..to remember, to reflect and to reconnect with the things that give life meaning.

Te Waka Mauri represents that journey. A waka is more than a vessel..it carries stories, identity, dreams and mauri. It carries what we inherit, what we protect and what we pass on.

The spirit of Takitimu reminds me of the journeys our ancestors made.. journeys of courage, discovery, and connection.

This is my Sacred Return.

A return to connection.
A return to purpose.
A return to the mauri within.

I share this journey with respect, gratitude, and an open heart honouring the past while creating a pathway forward.
