Hey Everyone just a quick update 🥰

I’ve decided I will be doing walk inz now on my days in but if you definetly want to secure a spot with me then your welcome to message and book a date (Booking policy applies)🥰

Tuesday was meant to be my start date however have had a small set back and my baby can’t actually start his daycare until he’s 2 which is in 3 weeks time. So at this stage I will only be doing Saturday walk inz and Sundays by appointment and maybe a day or 2 during the week but I will post up here 🥰 I will be in full time from the 16th September.

Currently I’m waiting for my colour swatch books to arrive with my product suppliers, and once I get these in I will be adding midways, semis, and a few other glossing and colour refresh services to my list

I’ve had some also message on Keratin smoothing as well 🥰 yes I will be offering the service stay tuned for the post up.

Abit of info about Chemical Straightening

Chemical hair straightening are creams or lotions applied to the hair that break down the protein structure of curly/wavy hair to permanently straighten it. Unlike heat straightening or serum straightening, chemically straightened hair stays straight until the hair grows out.

The cream applied breaks protein bonds in the hair called disulfides. Hair that is curlier has more disulfide bonds and stronger chemicals are needed to break these bonds in curlier hair.

After the bonds are broken, neutralizer is applied to reform the disulfide bonds. While reforming the bonds, the hair is then blow dried and flat ironed into its new shape to straighten it…
