Nine years ago, I created this little business, and it has taken me on such a journey — through growth, exhaustion, change, and finding myself over and over again.

There have been moments where I’ve wondered if the grass was greener elsewhere, or if I was meant to try something different. But no matter where life has taken me, I always find my way back here.

Boss Brows is something I built from the ground up. It holds my energy, my passion, and so much of who I am. And while I’ve explored new paths along the way, I know this space will always feel like home to me.

This beautiful little studio in my own backyard has connected me with so many incredible women over the years, and I’m so grateful to continue offering services that make women feel cared for, confident, and seen.

Coming back to this work full-time from August feels less like starting again… and more like coming home.

And while I’m returning to what I know and love, somewhere along this journey a greater vision has also come to me — one that feels deeply aligned with where I’m heading next. I’m giving myself the time and space to nurture it properly and bring it to life in the way it deserves… so for now, I’ll simply say that there is more to come, and it will all be revealed in time.

It has come to my attention that another local business who offers cosmetic tattooing has chosen to update their business name that could very easily be confused as my business "Boss Brows"

The concern for me is that my existing clients or potential clients that have been referred to me directly may unknowingly book in with the wrong business. I have been operating under this business name since 2020. If you are unsure you are booking in with the right person please msg to ask.

Boss Brows – Business Update

In case you missed my recent post or stories, I wanted to share an important update around the operation of Boss Brows 💛

From Monday 2nd of February, I’ll be stepping into an exciting new role tutoring beauty at Toi Ohomai. This means I’ll be on campus Monday–Wednesday, while continuing to operate Boss Brows on a limited part-time basis.

Boss Brows availability:
• Thursdays – reserved for my regular waxing clients
• Fridays – annual cosmetic tattooing touch-ups

Because of this change, I’ll unfortunately be unable to take on new clients for waxing, tinting, or fresh cosmetic tattooing sets. (Very limited cosmetic tattooing appointments may be released occasionally.)

*****UPDATE ON AVAILABILITY REGARDING ANNUAL TOUCH UPS*****

I am incredibly grateful for the ongoing support and the high volume of bookings for annual touch-ups. Due to this demand, my availability is now fully booked through to June.

To ensure I can manage my workload and continue providing the best possible service, I’ll be temporarily pausing bookings for annual touch-ups. I’ll announce when bookings reopen a few months prior to June, once the next round of appointments becomes available.

Boss Brows has been such an incredible journey, and as I step into this next chapter, I’m so grateful to continue seeing my loyal regulars while also sharing my knowledge and passion with the next generation of beauty students.

Just when you think you have a plan… the universe reminds you it already had one written for you!

Next year is going to look a little different...

This opportunity came unexpectedly, but I feel the challenge is necessary for my personal growth and wellbeing. I’m incredibly grateful to share that I’ve been accepted into the Academic Beauty Team as a tutor at Toi Ohomai, beginning at the end of January 2026. A beautiful new chapter is unfolding, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead.

What this means for Boss Brows:

• I’ll only be available Thursdays and Fridays.
• There may be a little trial and error as I settle into this new role, so thank you in advance for your patience.
• I won’t be taking new clients for waxing/maintenance services, and potentially fresh new sets for cosmetic tattooing.
• My priority will be my regulars, especially for annual cosmetic tattoo touch-ups.
• The rest of 2025 and January are currently fully booked.

My last day for the year will be 22nd December.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

If you have an appointment with me over the next 4 weeks you need to be prepared

There is a road closure in place on Te Ngae rd from Fenton street to Sala street, as I am located on Tumene drive (this comes off te ngae rd) this will affect your traveling times.. my clients who have arrived this morning have reported absolute chaos and I hear up to 1.5hrs some have waited to get back into town 😭

This may just be the case during school hours and peak travel times but it is best to be prepared. If you are worried that your appointment may no longer work due to this please contact me ASAP. I know some may have school runs etc and it will now be conflicting.. I havnt had to head out yet nor do I want to 😅 so if anyone has some status updates on how long its taking to get through I would really appreciate that!

Otherwise stay safe, be kind and overall be patient please 🙏 there has already been a few accidents due to it.
