It's been very few and far between from me.

However in January I dusted off my brushes for my very last prebooked wedding - this one had been booked almost a year ago 💕

Both an emotional and rewarding day for me knowing I'm part of something so special, I play such a small role in the pre wedding preparations, but also one that is very important - knowing that a bride trusts me so much to deliver a look they love and feel so comfortable with is always daunting, even after 12years I always go into every job feeling like it's my first.

Kate and her ladies just glowing on a hot summers day, back in December when we had the odd day of sunshine.

Right before this wedding it was torrential rain and very stormy, so very lucky to have skipped the rain, if I remember correctly the temp was high 20's 🌡

Super special that Kate's bridesmaids had flown in from different locations to all come together for her big day.

How stunning is Kate, classic, natural and elegant ✨️

Kate and her husband flew out from the UK for their NZ wedding held at The Black Barn, Lake Tarawera .

As Kate is a very active outdoor lover she requested very minimal makeup, and didn't wish for it to be noticeable, but to still look bridal and feel beautiful.

Love love creating barely there bridal makeup looks 💄

Just like my makeup work I give 100% effort and care to my beauty work, still the same me just a different line of work.

If you didn't know already I have re-established my beauty business out in Ngakuru, I trained 11yrs ago and am a qualified therapist, I then unskilled 2yrs ago on opening my little studio.

My last wedding for the season today, alittle bittersweet as I now have only 2 left later in the year.

I'm still very undecided if they will be my last or if I continue to just do afew here and there when I get referred through my fav vendors.

I just love the final product and making my brides feel so beautiful, getting amazing reviews and seeing the whole look come together through images I receive.

Its been a tricky couple of years navigating the behavior changes and people's expectations which has seen me lose the joy I once had.

I'll continue to post this season's images as they come though, but for today my bridal party were stunning, soft natural makeup, creamy skin and a custom n**e lip as always.
