Hi Everyone! Thank you for all the messages about the handbags being stolen. We have now received the handbags & 80% of the stuff in side back. A lovely client has offered to top up the items that were stolen.

Unfortunately today I had someone steal some handbags out of the drop off box.

I have now moved the box into the salon, so if you are wanting to donate a handbag please knock on the door.

If I am closed you can drop them into Stratford Press, right next door.

You do not have to be a client of ‘The Nail Bar Taranaki’ to donate the handbags,

Love Grace Handbag Appeal New Zealand is run each year between Valentines Day (14th Feb) & International women’s day (8th March) people are invited to donate handbags with essential items which are donated to help women passing through our local women’s refuge.

The appeal was set up by Grace Millane's family and friends following her tragic death in 2018. It merges her love for handbags with a cause to help women who have been affected by domestic violence/abuse.

The drop off point for donations is The Nail Bar Taranaki, 343 Broadway, Stratford. (Next to the local laundromat) There will be a box outside the door you are more then welcome to place the handbags in.

How to get involved:

👜 Drop it off to the The Nail Bar Taranaki @ 343 Broadway Stratford
👜 If you can't donate a handbag, you can show support by donating items to go in bags (we often need to top them up) or share this information with friends and family - any help/support is greatly appreciated!
