Introducing Karen to the Team!

​We are so excited to welcome Karen Ypinazar to our team!

​With over 44 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, Karen brings a wealth of talent, passion, and expertise. Her journey began in Australia back in 1981. After completing her apprenticeship and working alongside her grandmother, she successfully ran her own salon for 10 years, mentoring and training four apprentices along the way.

​Karen later moved to North Queensland, where she expanded into wholesale and retail—specializing in chemical straightening, emerging hair products, and delivering technical training to fellow hairdressers across salons.

​Since moving to New Zealand in 2020 and working in Rotorua, Karen has now made Taupō her home, and we are thrilled to have her bring her craft to our community.
