This project celebrates all people—including those who don’t define themselves as male or female. Together, we’ll create meaningful images that encourage conversation, challenge stereotypes, and remind Aotearoa that everyone deserves dignity, kindness, and the freedom to be themselves.

As many of you know, I don’t usually speak publicly about politics. But I do speak up for people.

Throughout my life, I’ve experienced what it feels like to not be heard, to feel invisible, and to have others decide your worth. That’s why this matters to me.

I’m supporting this campaign because I believe every person deserves to live authentically, with dignity, respect, and without fear of being judged simply for being who they are. We all know someone—a friend, a family member, a workmate, a neighbour, or someone in our community—whose life could be affected by decisions like these.

This photoshoot isn’t about creating division. It’s about creating visibility. It’s about reminding people that behind every headline, every bill, and every debate are real human beings with real stories.

My platform has always been about lifting others up, creating opportunities, and giving people a voice. If even one person feels seen, accepted, or empowered because we chose compassion over judgement, then we’ve made a difference.

This milestone helps protect our name, brand and identity while strengthening our credibility and ensuring the community we’ve built can continue to grow with confidence, professionalism and purpose.

NZMH is a supportive space where people can discover opportunities, build connections, gain knowledge, celebrate achievements and help each other succeed. Whether you’re an aspiring model, experienced industry professional, pageant queen, photographer, designer, makeup artist, business owner or simply someone passionate about the industry, there’s a place for you here.

The commitment is minimal, with a few online meetings each year, occasional discussions to help guide decisions, or simply helping share opportunities with our members.
