Heading into the Christmas rush, I will be standing firm with my policy for no shows or cancellations.

When you are booking an appointment with me, you are agreeing to my policies.

With immediate effect, full cancellation conditions are in play meaning if you cancel within 24hrs or no show, you will have to pay for that appointment if I cannot fill it.

✨ I work on TIME.

✨ I work with ZERO help. Me myself and I.

✨ When you are booking an appt with me you’re booking MY time.

✨That time is for you, and you only.

✨ I cannot get that time back

I largely perform services that are 2-4 hours long for my clients, it is difficult to fill these at such short notice.

Don’t be that girl, if you need to reschedule PLEASE give me notice. Or if it’s last minute, help find a friend that would like to fill your spot.

Use the correct shampoo and Conditioner that addresses the main concern or issue you have with your hair type, so that you’re getting the most out of every wash.

Curly hair is naturally DRY hair… You should use a weekly hair masque 🧖🏽‍♀️🌼🌹 It’s not a must, but it will help to reinforce healthy, bouncy curls by filling the strands with whatever it’s lacking.
Usually any masque that is for; HYDRATION, MOISTURE, or DAMAGE.

If you are an existing client of mine, remember fringe trims are FREE…. Don’t cut your own fringe, I’m just a hop and a skip away, and can usually fit you in same day if you just flick me a message 🥹

As a stylist, we can usually tell if you have been using sh*tty products in your hair. That being said, do not feel embarrassed or guilty if you have to confess this.
We are not here to judge, we are here to help. Especially if you have a goal and it’s effecting your hair journey.
If you’ve been happy using whatever it is, that’s cool too.
But our job is to help your hair health, and tell you how to get there, so don’t be offended or pushed in any way if your stylist is informing you about this.

YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT! What you consume is just as important as hair products. If you want stronger hair that grows in thicker, you need to have a decent amount of protein and iron in your diet!

Invest in a detangle brush, for wet hair! (Ideally one with a handle, so it doesn’t slip out of your hands). The hair is most fragile when wet, so paying extra caution when brushing/combing. A detangler is good for all hair types, gentle on the hair, and takes you half the time to get through knots.

Stop going to bed with wet hair! And avoid tying it up while wet - let it air dry!
When you do this, the hair holds bacteria and oils which causes it to smell and feel dirty. Especially for people with thick hair.

Exfoliate your scalp! Exfoliating your scalp not only eliminates product buildup, residue, dirt, oil, and flakiness. But it also stimulates your hair follicles which is good for a healthy scalp and hair growth.

This is especially recommended for people with thick, oily hair that struggles to dry without a blow dryer. Or people that don’t wash their hair often.
