Today I'm introducing lovely creamy oatmeal soap. This soap, which is a new twist on an old traditional favourite, is full of beneficial ingredients. Ground oatmeal with its reputation as a gentle but moisturising and soothing exfoliant, is reputed to help even inflamed or irritated skin. Similarly, fatty acid, vitamin & mineral rich sweet almond oil & shea butter are both regarded as nourishing for the skin. This soap is fragranced with therapeutic grade essential oils of lemongrass, rose geranium, amyris & ylang ylang.

Extra note: The shea butter I use is organic unrefined fair trade butter from Ghana.

Floral Pink Soap a real favourite with so many people partly because the essential oils of ylang ylang, lavender & rose geranium give it such pretty smell. As well as the nice smell the high fatty acid content of extra virgin coconut & olive oils blended with vitamin E rich sustainable source palm oil give the soap a rich & conditioning oil base. The veins of colour come from red French clay which is said to gently cleanse & rejuvenate all skin types. So, a real treat for the senses and the skin 🥰

Charcoal & Tea Tree Soap. This bar combines the detoxifying benefits of activated charcoal with the antiseptic but gentle powers of tea tree, lavender & lemon essential oils. It has been given enthusiastic reviews by people with rosacea, acne & eczema for the positive effect on their skin! The soap also evolves with use to create new & interesting patterns throughout its lifetime making it not only helpful but beautiful as well. Best not used with light coloured wash clothes due to the charcoal content though!

Gorgeous Peace Silk & Shea Butter Soap. Silk is a fibrous protein with a similar molecular structure to collagen fibres and is said to support skin elasticity and smoothness. Its addition to soap gives a silky feel to the soap and to your skin following its use. Shea butter is rich in vitamins, minerals proteins & fatty acids & is well known as an emollient and nourishing ingredient in skin care. When used in soap it creates a creamy, moisturising soap. Putting the two together with soothing and sweet smelling lavender & rose geranium and tropical heady & balancing ylang ylang is a stunning partnership & one of my personal favourites
Even better is that the Shea butter I use is organic unrefined fair trade butter from Ghana and the silk is cruelty free Eri (or peace) silk so both your skin & the silk worm can be happy!
