I am excited to announce that I have moved my Massage Clinic Kneaded to a new location in Otumoetai! I have settled in beautifully and am loving my new space.

Covid Protection Framework​
As you are aware, New Zealand moved to the Covid Protection Framework or Traffic Light System as of Friday 3rd December 2021. At this stage the Bay of Plenty will be operating at Orange and as my clinic is classified as a close contact business we must comply with this mandate in order to remain open.​
This means at Orange and Red levels I am required to sight your vaccine passport. At level Green, I am able to treat anyone regardless of their vaccine status.
This has been a very difficult process for us all. I absolutely respect everyone's choice and I trust that you will respect mine also. I am following the rules. Thank you so much for your understanding and support during these challenging and confronting times.​

What can you do during lockdown when you can't have a massage? I thought I would share a few options over the next few days. How about trying a nice hot bath tonight. If you have some epsom salts put half a cup in the water (the supermarket sells epsom salts so put it on your next shopping list). Add some essential oils, light some candles and find some great music. Epsom salts are great for relaxing muscles, retain hydration, eliminate toxins, reduce stress and anxiety, generate sleep to name just a few

We can't change what we are dealing with right now but we can use the principles of ACT to focus on what we can control, manage any anxiety or worry we are experiencing. Movement and mindfulness are great tools to help us deal with these.
Look after yourself and give yourself some self compassion and reach out for support if you need it.
