Temu salon finds… and honestly, I’m impressed 👀
I’ll admit I was a bit sceptical, but some of these have been such good additions to the salon without the hefty price tag:
• Glasses sleeve protectors – way cheaper than other suppliers and doing exactly what they should (no more colour stains 🙌)
• Hot tools holder – stuck it on the wall and it’s been perfect for keeping things tidy
• Tint brushes + whisks – great quality, easy to use, and I’m obsessed with the colours
• Light fitting – LOVE the style, gives such a nice vibe and was a fraction of the price
• Sliding door handles – solid, metal, and about half the price of what I’d pay elsewhere
• Metal spice rack – using this to display my demi colours and it’s actually perfect. I label the tops so everything’s easy to grab… already thinking I need another one 👀
Not everything is a win, but these ones definitely are 🤍

From box dye ➡️ soft, blended blonde ✨
My beautiful client Sarah from Journey Dog Training came in with previous box colour, and we achieved this in ONE session 🤍
Using a full head air touch with Milkshake Light Catcher Spotlight Level 9 + 10 vol to keep the lift as gentle as possible, protecting the integrity of her hair every step of the way 🌿
Everything that was blown out of the highlight was refined with a level 7 ash violet demi to neutralise warmth and create that seamless blend
Soft. Natural. Low maintenance.
The kind of blonde that grows out beautifully 🙌

✨ A New Chapter Begins Tomorrow ✨
Tomorrow, my little studio officially opens its doors.
I want to take a moment to say how grateful I am for my time at Scarlet Hair Studio. I loved working alongside my friends, a husband and wife team with bundles of knowledge between them and so many laughs along the way. That season meant a lot to me.
But it’s time for something new.
District Blonde is now its own space. A relaxed, one on one studio where it’s just you and me. No rush. No noise. Just calm, personalised hair appointments.
If you need to bring your laptop and get work done while you’re processing, you absolutely can. There’s wifi, beverages, a private bathroom, and parking right in the driveway.
It’s intimate. It’s peaceful. It’s intentional.
I can’t wait to welcome you into this new space and continue creating beautiful hair together.
