The Hair to Stare At team would love to introduce you to our newest Master Stylist, Roo, who joins us full-time from 18th August! 🤍

Hi, I'm Roo! 😁
I started my hairdressing career 19 years ago in South Africa, and since then I've travelled the world as a hairdresser on cruise ships and even worked at Fashion Week. Along the way, I've seen, heard and worked with it all – from coarse and curly to fine and flat.

When I'm not behind the chair, you'll usually find me cooking with a glass of wine or overwatering my pot plants (according to ChatGPT 😂). Other than that, I'm absolutely obsessed with animals, so if you want to tell me all about your pet frog, I'm here for it!

I love all things foils, blondes, balayage and dimensional brunettes. I also love finishing every look with a precision cut that enhances the very best features of your hair.

Creating a personalised hair journey with my clients is something I'm truly passionate about. So, if you're ready for a change or have some new ideas in mind, come and see me and let's bring your hair goals to life. After all, life's too short for boring hair!

Hi, I’m Sacha! Hairdressing is my passion, and I’ve been fortunate to work in the industry since 2020. My love for it started early, and I gained valuable experience assisting in salons as a teenager before becoming qualified.

I’m a hairdresser who loves it all, but blondes and balayages truly have my heart. I’ve poured my heart into mastering these techniques through specialized courses. And when it comes to styling for balls, weddings, and other celebrations, I love creating looks that make people feel truly special.

I’m all about balance! When I’m not doing hair, I love getting my Pilates fix, getting outside for an adventure, diving into a good book or spending time with good company !

I love building genuine relationships with my clients and believe great hair is about more than just looking good it’s about feeling confident, seen, and cared for.

Known for my gentle nature and attention to detail, I take the time to listen and work closely with you to create a look that complements your features, skin tone, and lifestyle.🤎

I have a special love for blondes and creating bright, healthy-looking hair, using colour and cutting techniques to bring out your natural beauty.

When I’m not in the salon you’ll likely find me out exploring nature, snowboarding in the winters or knitting a new project.

Outside of work, I cherish moments spent in nature, whether it’s relaxing by the lake, enjoying the ocean breeze at the beach, or immersing myself in a kiwi camping trip. My furry companion, Bolt 🐶, is a massive part of my life and i love nothing more than long walks on the beach with him.
