Kia ora whanau. Just a bit of a clinic update.
So many of you have told me I don't charge enough for what I offer, and not to undervalue the service I provide. I've been thinking about this for awhile now and I've come to terms that maybe you fullas are right 😅
I'm introducing a Koha-based sliding scale, whereas before I was charging $1 per minute.
From now on, you'll be able to choose how much you want without me trying to stop you paying more 😅
The Scale - $60-$150 (not a price rise per se).
I've also got some availability coming up in 2 weeks time (2nd week of holidays), so if you'd like to book in, comment below or flick me a message.
Much love whanau, Alisha 😀

Every journey into parenthood is unique, and at Tapuhi Ahi Kā, whānau are at the centre of everything we do. With aroha in every interaction, our midwives walk alongside hapū māmā and whānau, celebrating each moment from pregnancy to pēpi.

Kia ora tatou. Cancer Society's 'Relay for Life' is coming back to Tauranga for the first time in a long time. We are looking for Kaimirimiri and Massage Therapists to volunteer their time and join us in the Massage tent. Would only be few 3-4 hours, snacks are provided!
Students are welcome, as this is an awesome opportunity to get some community experience under your belt. There will be Senior Therapists there to supervise/answer questions and learn off of.
If this sounds like a kaupapa or something that aligns with you, please flick me a message or get in contact, deets below:

Kia ora e te whanau!! 🤗
I've been a little quiet on here lately and have been wanting to jump on and give a quick update for awhile, so here I am :)
I had an amazing time-off over the Xmas/New Year period. I got a good rest while still being able to get those little jobs done at home that get left on the back burner when you have little tamariki😅
I had planned to open up some evening and weekend sessions as of last week, HOWEVER ... that has now changed, I was in a car accident last Tuesday 🤦♀️ I was very fortunate to walk/hobble away, though my poor waka was a write-off! My tinana got banged up a bit and I have a Mild Concussion which I am working through with Specialised Physio, but otherwise I am ok.
What does this look like for Miri Mama? 🤔
Please bear with me while I rest and recover. I would say I'll be out of action for a good month, but will let everyone know on here when I have availability 😀
ALSO... Ya girl is dropping back into study with 2 different tohu this year (both fulltime):
-Lvl 6 Remedial Massage @ Toi Ohomai
-Lvl 4 Rongoa Maori @ Te Wananga o Aotearoa
I'm gonna be one busy Mama this year, in saying that, I haven't forgotten you all and I will defo need people to practice and hone my new learned skills on during the year.
Until then, Ngaa mihi mahana 💚
