We have a new retail shop at 2 Princes Street PUTARURU 3411
Open Tues/Wed/thurs/Fri 9am til 2.00pm and Saturday 9am til 1.00pm
We are a "from scratch" bakery based in the Waikato region. All of our doughs are made from mother starter doughs, to truely work out the minimal amount of commercial yeast used to rise our bread range, ending with a wholesome and delicious product. The breads You will find in our retail store is from that mornings bake and are never more than 24 hours old. If you get there early enough, you will

New Scroll in the cabinet today, Plum and Custard. Thursday also means Sourdough back on the Shelves this morning. Pies are Lamb and Kumara, BBQ Brisket, and Steak Bacon and Cheese. Banofee pies and long Cream Buns too

One of our regular customers popped into the store to drop off this gift for Ethan (our mr 17 that mans the shop on a Saturday and holidays). How cool is this. Now lets see if we can get him to wear it 🤣 . Thanks so much Kerry.

Our shop hours this Easter. Note that we will be open on Monday the 11th. It is for that Monday only 🙃.
Orders. Your last day to place a freight order will be Sunday the 10th then we will be turning off the online shop til after Easter. We will not be taking orders through the shop for the week leading up to Easter - mon 11th to fri 15th ( with the exception of the chocolate HCBs that need to be pre ordered for Thurs 14th pick up). It will be first in first served (but there will be heaps).

Pies this week, BBQ Brisket, Steak Bacon and Cheese, and Lamb and Kumara. I've upped our Hot Cross Bun Numbers this week, so hopefully we don't run out early 🤞. New Doughnut starts tommorow on Trial for you to try, Apricot And Custard. Caramilk Eclair style cream doughnuts And a few loaves of 5 grain today too 😉

Who is happy to see these babies back today?? The original recipe , BBQ BEEF AND BACON Sausages rolls . Get them while you can. We also have heaps of hot cross buns today , sorry to those that missed out yesterday. They are very popular and fly off the shelf. ( tip, they freeze beautifully)

Lamb and Kumara pies back today, along with Butter Chicken and the new Bbq Brisket pie. Heaps of Hot Cross Buns baked daily. Long cream Buns, Banofee pies and Eclair Donuts in the Chilled cabinet, what more could you want 😀
