One of my favourite easy snacks that’s packed with ingredients to support both your gut and your skin.
Why some of these ingredients are great for your skin and gut -
🥜 Peanut Butter – Healthy fats, vitamin E & protein to support healthy skin.
🥥 Coconut Oil – Healthy fats that help with nutrient absorption.
🍯 Honey – Rich in antioxidants and supports a healthy gut.
💪 Soy Protein Crisps – High in protein to support collagen and skin repair.
🌰 Nuts & Seeds – Full of healthy fats, zinc and antioxidants for glowing skin.
🍫 Dark Chocolate – Packed with antioxidants to help protect your skin.

Recipe below -
Gut + Glow Slice 🍫

Base:
• ½ cup coconut oil (melted)
• ½ cup natural peanut butter
• ¼ cup honey
• 2 cups soy protein crisps
• 1 cup mixed nuts & seeds (I used whatever I had!)
• ½ cup desiccated coconut
• 1 tsp cinnamon

Mix everything together, press firmly into a lined tray and refrigerate.

Top:
• 150g dark chocolate
• 1 tbsp coconut oil

Melt together, pour over the base and refrigerate until set. Slice and enjoy!

This was the Tahi!
We were into our work, severely under qualified with nothing but a blurred vision. Some minor blood, a bit more elbow grease and a lot of questionable decisions later and we could see the finish line. I think I had accepted defeat when I was laying the floor at 9pm on Monday night. Stay tuned for the final reveal!

Day two we didn’t achieve a lot! I was pretty over it by this point feeling unmotivated, nothing achieved and thought it was going to be a flop. I decided an earlier bed time and some sleep was needed to function well come crunch time. Stay tuned for how it finished!

I have decided to document this renovation to hold myself accountable to get it done. So follow along to see if we can pull this off or if I will have to phone a far more qualified friend to finish.
