🚿 PSA: Nails are NOT waterproof. Natural nails are about 18% water, which means they absorb and release moisture just like a sponge. The problem? Every time they swell with water and shrink back down, you’re putting stress on the nail plate - leading to peeling, breaks, and even lifting. Think about how often it happens: showers, dishwashing, cleaning without gloves… those “little” daily waterlogging moments add up fast. The fix? 🧤 Wear gloves for chores 💧 Keep nails hydrated with cuticle oil ⏱ Don’t soak right before your appointment ✨ Consistency = stronger nails + longer-lasting sets Clients may think nails are indestructible, but pros know better: it’s about prevention, not repair. Share this with the one client who “forgets” their gloves and oil every. single. time. 👀 Techs - what’s your #1 nail-care rule you wish every client followed?
