This client came to me after having a tattoo removed with laser, which left behind an area of hypopigmentation (loss of natural skin colour) and visible scar tissue.
Laser removal can sometimes affect the skin’s pigment cells (melanocytes), leaving areas that no longer match the surrounding skin tone.

Scar camouflage tattooing works by carefully implanting customised pigment tones into the skin to help soften the contrast between the scar and the surrounding skin.

This is only the first session — and scar camouflage is a process, not an instant fix. The skin needs time to heal, settle, and allow the pigment to stabilise before we can accurately assess the result and plan any refinements.

The goal is not to erase the scar (that isn’t possible), but to help it blend more naturally and become less noticeable in everyday life.

After the area was checked and cleared by her doctor, we recreated the appearance of her beauty spot through cosmetic tattooing.
