Dalton The Terrace

Another regulars rides post. Not been as many bikes coming in at the moment with the winter. But I’m excited for the better weather. So we can see some of your rides. Managed to score this old 1960s bsa bantham off fb marketplace. It was rescued from a motorcycle shop fire in palmy. Managed to add bits and bobs laying around the garage to make it look more like a motorcycle. Skateboard seat and broomsticks forks lowers. My mate Thomas Couprie sorted me a front tyre. It looks good in the window of the barbershop when I’m not there on the weekends, and I don’t need to worry about it getting stolen. Come check it out, don’t get too close without a tetanus shot. Check out this modular custom made steel framed masterpiece by my mate and insane fabricator welder extraordinaire David Askew .It’s on wheels and can add barber chairs on each side so can have more barbers in the shop, Can also take it to events. He has also welded tabs on the inside to add more plywood as shelving if needs be. I couldn’t be happier with the way it came out. A million times better than anything I could have built. He even finished it off with a custom laser cut of the shop logo. If you would like something like this made , hit up the tag and message him David Askew , There’s not much he can’t do with metal. Introducing Lyell , at DALTON barbershop.
He’s been in the industry for 7 years. We have worked together for the past 5 years and we cut in a very Similar style and we are good mates. He’s a very keen surfer, mountain biker, photographer and pc gamer. Just going to try to convince him to buy a motorcycle to get to work on. Come get a quality trim and a good chat. Mon-Fri 9-6. Thanks to my Mum Shirl who made these cool cushion covers for my retro 3 piece couch for the barbershop waiting area , and gave a cool new look and overhaul.
