We would like to introduce Sue our newest team member. Sue is one of our Office Administrators and enjoys the daily interactions with our wonderful clients.
Originally from Auckland, Sue and her husband Misi moved to Whakatāne 24 years ago and have never looked back, fully embracing the lifestyle of the "Bay of Plenty." Outside of the clinic, Sue is a proud mother of three boys. Although they all live overseas, she and Misi love taking every opportunity to travel and visit them.
Please join us in welcoming Sue.

Exciting times at Body Aid Clinic! 🎉 We're excited to welcome Helen McKendrey to our growing team of physiotherapists.
Helen comes to us having co-owned and developed Capital Sports Medicine in Wellington into a thriving multi-disciplinary clinic over the past 27 years. Her postgraduate diplomas in spinal manipulation and rehabilitation highlight her deep understanding of biomechanical assessment, pelvic stabilisation, and the crucial role of posture and breathing.
Helen's integrated approach draws on concepts from Yoga and Pilates to create holistic and sustainable recovery plans. She's a firm believer in hands-on manual therapy combined with empowering you to take an active role in your healing journey. With extensive experience working with both elite and recreational athletes (and being an active mountain biker and adventure racer herself!), Helen has a knack for identifying and addressing the root causes of injuries.
We know Helen's expertise will be a fantastic asset to our Whakatāne community. Welcome aboard, Helen! We're so happy to have you at Body Aid Clinic.

At Body Aid Clinic we believe in supporting our community, and we're especially proud to sponsor the design of a fresh new uniform kit for Whakatāne Cycle Club.
The design has been created by Law Creative Group and features a clean and simple logo, complemented by a subtle yet powerful cultural pattern. These lines, known as HaeHae lines in Māori carving, represent the flow of energy and life force. Just like how the Whakatāne River flows around obstacles, and a cyclist evades a pursuer, these lines move and weave, reflecting both the river and the rider's swift forward momentum. The chevron shapes also subtly resemble bike chains, adding another layer of meaning. We're so happy to be a part of the Whakatāne Cycle Club's journey!
Inspired? Join us! The club rides Mondays and Thursdays at 6pm throughout the summer. Contact the club on their page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100086144032755
