It has been a long time since I posted & I just wanted to update you all on a few changes that have come about.

First of all, YES I am still providing mirimiri however through a pre arranged agreement as this mahi works around my whanau, day time mahi & in alignment with the maramataka and myself.

To book in, the best way to do this is thru messenger. KIAORA!

I am currently providing this service in your home (however local to Whanganui people only)

My current studio I have closed.

For transparency my prices have changed to reflect this, being:

💜 $100 for a 60 min session.
💜 Which includes a 50 min Mirimiri.
💜 And time for korero & set up.
💜 I bring with me over 10 years of massage & mirimiri knowledge & experience.
💜 Plus my trustworthy table, kawakawa oils, towels, wraps & travel costs included.

This has been a very convenient option for many mama and wahine I've worked with so far - and a change I have also enjoyed!

Please note:
This service is for wahine (women) only.

In other spaces such as wananga or community kaupapa I do tane (men) but not under my pakihi Mauri Ora Mirimiri.

I do bring along my daughter who assists and is also learning through me. She may or may not be with me every time but is also another added element regarding safety.

This was a much longer post then I expected however this is where we are today!

I do apologise for those i haven't responded too, my messenger is playing up and I'm unable to reply at this time. I will be in touch as soon as I can.

WHAT a year of learning, failing, living & growing that was! I have been away a while - not because I wanted too .. but because it was necessary.

In all pursuits of life, be it professional, passion fueled or heart driven. I had hit a wall.

AND What a wall it was.

I am back again, well again & stronger then ever.

Many things could have derailed me ... but leaning into GOD, those I trust, those I learned Rongoa a Mirimiri from, who encouraged me and therefore, helped me to come full circle.again.

I AM BACK & here for your Mirimiri needs 💥

As of next week I am offering Mirimiri to those in Whanganui and the outer regions. My Mahi has changed where I am happy to travel and provide this service within your home.

To those that have messaged regarding Mirimiri I am currently not operating at the moment due to whanau commitments & change of location.

Others I recommend locally include, Rochelle Te Kaho - of Te Kopere the healing arts of Maori or Matenga in Marton at Te Kotuku Hauora / Ngati Apa o Waiariki.

Wanted to come on here & share that I am still operating and happy to provide Mirimiri but a few updates first ✨️

I thought I would take some time to answer a few questions many have asked ...

1: What is Mirimiri?

Mirimiri is a form of bodywork, a Maori healing practise thats aims to rebalance, restore function and release deeply held tension or mamae in the tinana (body)

2: What can I expect at Mauri Ora Mirimiri?

At Mauri Ora Mirimiri I provide a space for your tinana a wairua to heal through Mirimiri. I use Kawakawa oil and work on the body mostly and where your body tells me it needs. Everyone is different and being intune is important. We all hold stuff in different areas and for different reasons. (be it trauma, injury, tension or pain)

Karakia, breath work and waiata are all utilised in and throughout your session.

3: Whats unique about your service?

Altho I provide the space, time and Mirimiri I am not the healer but God is 🙏🏽 I draw strength and healing from him (who works thru me) to provide you with restoration and harmony where needed.

4: How can I book in with you & how much do you charge?

The best way to book is thru FB messenger.
Space and times are limited.
As I do book out weekly.

I am open Thursdays and Fridays ONLY between 10am - 2pm and charge $80 an hour. Koha is also accepted if putea is an issue. I can/do subsidies for kaumatua or rangatahi.

NOTE: At times I will cancel or rebook you - as I dont mahi a wairua during my Ikura or on certain Maramataka days (I will make sure to message you 24-48hours if this is the case and offer you the next available)

If you need to cancel just lmk 24-48 hours beforehand too.
