I am still quite lost for words with this one, but…

I WON BROW ARTIST OF THE YEAR AT THE GLOBAL LASHIE AWARDS 😭😭😭

Out of every award I entered, this was the one I wanted so badly.

And because I wanted it so badly, I almost wouldn’t let myself believe I could actually win it. I didn’t want to get my hopes up, so I think somewhere in my head I had already prepared myself for hearing someone else’s name.

But then they said mine.

Brow Artist of the Year.

On the other side of the world.

I’m still so shocked.

I have poured so much time, energy and passion into brows. I’ve obsessed over my craft, pushed myself to keep learning, questioned myself, backed myself and worked ridiculously hard to get where I am today.

I also placed 2nd for Client Retention, which makes this whole thing even more surreal. To be recognised not only for the work I create, but for the business and client relationships I’ve built around it is pretty bloody special.
If you heard me speak at the Aotearoa conference a few weeks ago you would know this is something I touched on and the importance of client relationships.

I think little Zoe would lose her fu***ng mind if she could see this.

What the actual f**k 😭🏆

𝗭𝗼𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗻-𝗛𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗹𝗹 is joining us on the LABSNZ 2027 stage with a conversation we think a lot of beauty business owners need to hear.

Because somewhere along the way, being “good with clients” can turn into constantly making exceptions, bending your own rules and saying yes to things that are quietly draining you.

And eventually, that costs you.

Zoe is bringing the real lessons from building Sublevo to the stage and unpacking what stronger boundaries can actually look like in a beauty business, without losing the client experience or suddenly becoming rigid as hell.

You’ll leave with practical ways to recognise where your boundaries are getting blurry, communicate expectations more clearly and build policies you can actually stand behind.

So honoured to be bringing these two awards home with me from .nz

In my eyes the art of classic lashes are still extremely unappreciated. With a classic set, there is nowhere to hide, one misplaced lash can disrupt the flow of the whole set. Mastering classic lashes to me is a testament to my attention to detail and the care I put in to my sets.

And you should all know by now how passionate I am about brow laminations and being able to understand the process on a scientific level, so to bring home the award for brow laminations is a massive milestone for me.

Thank you for these beautiful awards, they feel like taonga to me.
