A little bit of this and a little bit of that, last week I opened up a fourth day at SBS (Fridays btw and they’re booking out fast, love you guys) and it’s been the best! An extra day filled with my beautiful clients and doing what I love. Couldn’t ask for more could I. Sprinkled with cookies, little helpers, a conference with the girls and sitting in the chair myself! Grateful ❤️💉

A few truths about aging that I keep coming back to. Because let’s be honest we’re all going through it and we all feel some kind of way about it.

But I truly believe aging is such a gift. Some of these truths come from my work in the studio, some from my work as an oncology nurse (where you spend time with people who didn’t get the chance to grow old and that really changes your perspective)

I’ve spoken about the philosophy that sits behind everything I do here at SBS. Never about looking younger and always about feeling like yourself, at every age and stage (and if that means injectables, let’s do it)

Something I check on every single clients face, and it has nothing to do with wrinkles!

As an oncology nurse this is something very close to my heart and I still wear that hat while injecting. So while I’m looking at your skin for what we could enhance, I’m also having a proper look at your moles and sun spots. Checking for anything that’s changed, or anything that just doesn’t look right.

New Zealand has one of the highest melanoma rates in the world, and our sun is genuinely harsher than most people realise. It’s part of why I take this so seriously, I’ve seen the aftermath of too much sun exposure.
