I went to the spa yesterday. Middle of the day. Random Monday. The old me would have done the spa too don’t get me wrong 😅 … but then she would spend the whole day drowning in guilt because she “should” be working. I used to equate “I’m busy” with success… ✔️The hours. ✔️The sleepless nights. ✔️Busy meant I was winning. So when someone asks how you’re doing? I’M BUSY. SO SO BUSY. 🙄 “If I don’t work, I don’t make money.” This track kept playing in the back of mind over and over again… ✨More money? Get busy. ✨More clients? Get busy. ✨More love? Yup — get busy. 😂 ✨More experiences? GET BUSY. No surprise why ALMOST there Busy enough to be exhausted. Never enough to be free. Just… spinning, sure the next hustle would finally do it. And in truth I was busy with a whole lotta nothings being busy. Here’s what I know now: Busy was never making me money. Busy kept me “almost there” for far too long. Busy was simply a way to prove I deserved more money, more clients, the life I wanted. The woman who actually has it isn’t the busiest in the room and she’s NOT the one chasing it harder. She stopped believing her worth was measured in hours, dollars, or the 3D world proof. And Monday becomes a spa day without paying for it in guilt, because she’s not chasing the money, the clients, the life anymore. She became the woman they belong to. That’s not a schedule change, or the right affirmation babe.
