📢 CALL FOR GARBO SA ALCOY AWARDEES 2026

The Alcoy Tourism office is still accepting nominations for the Garbo sa Alcoy Awards 2026, recognizing outstanding Alcoyanons for their exceptional achievements and accomplishments.

Please be informed that all Barangay Captains were officially notified on June 29, 2026 regarding the submission of qualified nominees for this year’s Garbo sa Alcoy Awards.

We encourage all qualified individuals to coordinate with your respective barangay if you belong to any of the following categories:

🏅 Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) Winners
🏅 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) Winners
🏅 Provincial Meet Winners
🏅 CVRAA Winners

⚖️ Lawyers
🩺 Doctors
⛪ Parish Priests
🏅Topnotchers in other professions
🎓 Latin Honors (Summa Cum Laude & Magna Cum Laude)

Eligible accomplishments include those achieved from July 17, 2025 to the present, as well as achievements attained in 2024 that were not recognized during the previous Garbo sa Alcoy Awards.

If you believe you are qualified, please reach out to your Barangay Captain or barangay officials and submit your supporting documents to facilitate your inclusion in the selection process.

The meeting brought together with our Mayor Jose Eugenio Singson Jr, Vice Mayor Michael Angelo Sestoso, Sangguniang Bayan Members, Barangay Captains department heads, government agencies, resort owners, PMSCs, DMCs, and contractors to ensure a well-coordinated, meaningful, and successful celebration for the whole community.
